i seriously doubt it was titanium, i have that but never use it, just wasnt a big fan.
yes, vm was likely the issue and uninstalling it will get rid of it. however, it is still possible there are damaged files left by it, that wont be fixed by an uninstall.

That's what I am afraid of. And to be honest, I don't have enough knowledge about these things so it will not hurt my feelings a bit to go back. Now the question is.... can I do it without screwing up anything else? :-\ I just gotta figure out how. lol

How do I know if its UNrooted? I did it and everything said successful. I rebooted it one more time for safe measure. but the Superuser icon is still there? Nothing in it, but its there. Does it mean I am still rooted? and at the top next to the wifi signal thing there is a white triangle.

Not the best pic, but it shows the triangle. And I still have no idea if I am rooted or not.

You SBF'd? Dial *228 to reactivate.

Download root checker free from Google play and run it. It will tell you if you are rooted.

Yes I SBF'd. I just downloaded a Root Checker and it says "Sorry! This device does not have proper root access." So i guess I am not rooted. I did a battery pull and the triangle is still there. The phone is working and I can make calls. But that dang triangleis gonna drive me nuts.

So Just out of curiosity... what does the white diamond icon mean that is on the other side of the wifi icon?

It means you don't have mobile data/service. You'll need to do that every time you SBF/Wipe Data.

That is what the triangle was right?

    130806-201056.jpg

The very first icon shows up all the time and sometimes flashes. It has never bothered me before. Not that it does now either just because I am use to seeing it. but what does it mean?

And the triangle is gone now. YAY!! Thank you so much!!!
