You SBF'd? Dial *228 to reactivate.

Download root checker free from Google play and run it. It will tell you if you are rooted.

Yes I SBF'd. I just downloaded a Root Checker and it says "Sorry! This device does not have proper root access." So i guess I am not rooted. I did a battery pull and the triangle is still there. The phone is working and I can make calls. But that dang triangleis gonna drive me nuts.

So Just out of curiosity... what does the white diamond icon mean that is on the other side of the wifi icon?

It means you don't have mobile data/service. You'll need to do that every time you SBF/Wipe Data.

That is what the triangle was right?

The very first icon shows up all the time and sometimes flashes. It has never bothered me before. Not that it does now either just because I am use to seeing it. but what does it mean?

And the triangle is gone now. YAY!! Thank you so much!!!

Yes the triangles represented no service. Calling *228 activated the phone removing the triangle.

The first icon looks like a GPS symbol. Do you have location settings on? That can be a battery hog as well.

Under locations I have checks next to Google location services, Standalone GPS and VZW location services. Not a good thing?

Its not a bad thing. If you use it then leave it on, I personally never use it so all of those are unchecked. If you uncheck them then that icon will go away.

you will get better battery life, if stand alone gps is not checked
but it should be checked when using naviation

i find this curious to have happened. she flashed the other day and it didn't need to be re-activated (she didn't say so anyways), and i have never dialed *228 on a smart phone yet i have flashed 100+ times easy.
is this something specific to the x2?

Its specific to 3g devices. SBFing may not require activation if you flash the same system version. If you wipe data or SBF a different version you will need to reactivate.

Now that I am back to stock (I did not reformat) but I am still having very quick battery drain. When I go to Settings and battery usage it is saying that "Phone Idle 61%" This seems quite high...?
