Rooting Advice Droid Turbo

Hi i just bought a used Factory Unlocked Droid turbo of ebay works great, i am wanting to root the phone but from what i am reading looks like i am SOL due to the build i have can you help me point me in the right direction thanks.

There is no known way to root the Turbo once it's been updated to Marshmallow. It can be rooted before the update and root can be retained. You are on Lollipop and I believe it is still able to be rooted. I will double-check.

Edit:. SU4TL-44 can be rooted, but I'm not seeing 49.

You can root by flashing a rooted image to the phone. I'm still not sure this can be done after 49, but it's worth some additional searching. See:

Sweet i will check out the link, i just want to make sure i am not going to flip some setting and phone goes back Verizon back to factory, because i use it on metro pcs.
