    Replace <file> with the application's name that you're trying to restore.

    ok and do that for each file as there is over 20 files??

    I just noticed if i press and hold on the home key on the phone i get a menu that has Text messaging , com.motorola.ho, battery manager

    Than, try again.

    That just shows your most recent open applications. Just a feature of Android.

    than i did adb shell and got
    * daemon not running. starting it now* *Daemon started successfully * Error device not found

    LOL yeah the phon is plugged it completed the command adb start-server and no errors came up just dropped down one line and says C:\users\nick>

    Yeah, I posted that before you said the daemon started running again.

    Do you have USB Debugging enabled, and do you have the Motorola drivers installed?

    I have the drivers installed but cannot access anything on the phone to be able to enable usb debugging
