Rooting was simple after I rebooted my phone, I purchased the droid x bootstrap app, I ran it, and it said back up so I backed it up, waitied about 3 min, and think I backed it up right like everyone says, I looked on my sd card and it says clockwork mod and it says back up? Did I back it up right? What's next? I want the liberty rom first, and what all rooted apps are nice to have? I've also purchased titanium backup pro as well but haven't used it yet.

The first thing I'd do is sync your contacts in Setting > Accounts & Sync > Google > Sync Now.
Then, open Titanium and backup your apps (especially ones with data like Angry Birds, etc.). Let me know when that's done.
Do you also want to keep any texts or your call log?

Forgot the most important step before flashing roms you have to backup your fone. I recommend usng koush bootstrap to backup you fone. Titanium is only for your apps.

Calm down, not at that point yet. OP: you can still dl'd the ROM @ whatever battery % you're at but you'll need 70% before flashing so we'll get it downloaded and onto the root of your SD card, ready to flash :)
