Just some insight, my technological challenged wife jailbroke her iPhone the other day and now is doing some pretty cool stuff that she didn't have to search for, programs where all included in jailbreak. So being the sore loser I am, I rooted my Droid today. What next? Anything in particular I should look for? Don't know where to start, roms, boot images, apps etc. Any help on where to go from here would be nice..all this is very new to me

AdFree Android (free) is a sweet. It's in the market place. Disables most all ads in apps and browsers.

Well, you'll probably lose your root access within the next couple weeks anyway...because of the new update, and then you'll just have to wait for a new way of root access...

Not if he installs the new Sholes Rom. It automatically blocks OTA updates.
