Rooted Phones = Which ones?

Recently I discovered the joy of rooting.

ROMs THEMEs KERNELs oh my!

I have a DROID 1.

Just curious, what current phones are easily rootable and romable and themable, etc as the DROID 1? Or is it easier to make a list of a phone NOT to get if you want to Root?

I realize the issues with the G2. What about the Other DROIDs and Galaxy's?

Off the top of my head, the Eris, Incredible, DX, D2, and Fascinate are all rootable. As are most Android phones, I believe.

There are only a few that are theme-able, like the D1.

Basically ever phone since the N1 and the D1 have locked bootloaders. That's not to say they can't be ROM'd but it does make it a lot harder.

Cyanogen has already rooted his G2. It's messy, but it's rooted.

he got CM6 running on it but it only runs off the SD card so theres still work to do. He has gotten further then most thought possible.

I have the DX and I thought it was very easy to root and theme/rom. It took a lot of research to make sure it was done right.

The Droid Incredible was easy to root, and accepts roms and themes, like the D1.
