Rooted Droid 2.2 Turns on and off

Ok, my Droid keeps turning on and off when pluged into a charger. It has no battery. And it is rooted on 2.2. I want to unroot it or reset it or something, but it needs to stay on first. After I rooted it, it worked for a few months, but now it doesn't just randomly. Please help asap! thanks :motdroidvert:

Is it an OEM charger? If it isn't this could be your problem.
