Okay folks, I'm throwing up my "idiot" flag,

I have a droid 3 (rooted, with Maverick ROM 4.0) and i've been having problems with the memory, is anyone else? Sometimes I trim the fat out with apps and pics and such, but it hardly makes a dent. I've flashed a few different ROMs over the last year, but I always wipe data, cache, and factory reset, it seems like it doesn't help when I'm seeing icons or other items in my photo gallery that shouldn't still be there... I'm lost, looking for options, I tried unrooting/re rooting and resetting, but I don't know what to do to fix this...

Have you tried d/ling a launcher like go launcher that has a task killer in it already? You can also use rom toolbox lite to control minfree values.

Are you talking about sd card memory? If so you might want to delete some of your old backups if you have any. Use a file manager to see what you have saved up. You would be surprised how much in three past year that you don't even use anymore
