Rooted and want to install a ROM but confused how

Yeah that's right. For the dx. Go into clockwork, wipe data, then install part 1, then immediately after that one is finished, install part 2. Then reboot system. No wipe inbetween

Ok another question why do the instructions say use the d2 bootstrap not the DX bootstrap?

DX bootstraper does work I believe if usb debugging is turned off, but most people use d2 bootstrap. Not sure why. I just know it works.
