I want to root my t-bolt because I hear other helps battery and overall performance but I DON'T want it to ruin my phone so I need an easy and safe method so please post a video or some step by step thanks

You have to wipe since your are changing system 2 times during the root process

a data wipe is really not a big deal unless you are worried about loosing game data.

once you sign into your google accnt. during the setup of the phone, all your apps, and contacts will sync right up.

there are apps to backup SMS conversations and call history

its really not a huge deal to me, but i have done it about 200 times so i am getting good at it.

If you are not willing to do the small amount of work required to gain root then its a good idea to walk away.
