Root works on 2.1

    Doesn't your phone revert back to stock if you just accept the O.T.A. update? I think it does.

    irdk so thats y i just reverted so i didn't have to deal with it later

    Let me tell you what also happens. Upon losing root, any root required apps that were installed to /system are now read only, and cannot be used. So, its better to unroot and return to stock prior.

    The better question is why would you want to accept the update? with the latest ESE53 builds, we have the update and MORE!

    No way am I going back!!

    Because it may have the required software change to allow the phone to use flash. I am not going to be the first in line, but if it is made clear that 2.1 is rootable I will unroot and install 2.1 asap.
