installed Superuser and it did not see Root Tools. I then uninstalled Root Tools and and reinstalled it. Superuser still shows no apps in list. "Error while running command. Probably could not gain root". Then a popup appears saying reboot required for changes to take affect. I have done this before and rebooted and still couldn't do stuff such as "get current vm heap size" and "lcd density". Ideas?

If you "rooted" your phone you should have SU already.

    Sounds like its not rooted.

Seems to work pretty well on my fission 2.6.1 d2
One thing I noticed is that if a partial download occurs (say on boot animation) the app will force close when selecting it. The workaround was to delete the download from the sd card and start again. Would suggest some kind of error handling for that.. e.g. hash the downloads and re-download if they don't match.

    Installing boot animation

I downloaded the app and all looks good. However when I try to install a boot animation or font there's a problem. It downloads fine, but then I get a popup "Unable to remount file system read/write". Please tell me there is a simple setting somewhere I am missing.

I've seen that you can modify the build.prop with this app. What pre-defined mods do you have? For example I was interested in speeding up my internet connection. I suspect Verizon put some limitation there in the build.prop to make us consume less data...

Also can you change the colors in the status bar or the icons with this app?

I've seen one comment in the Market from a guy using a Droid 2 Global that had issues. Was this app tested on a D2G?

    Thank you.

Just got the app, like it so far.

One problem, and then a couple suggestions:

The mount system read/write doesn't seem to work for me. I'm running a DX, GB 591 with Apex 2.0.0 and Rooted obviously. I cannot get my system files writable at all it seems.

A widget for this app would be awsome, for the reboot part at least. And what is a 'Hot reboot'?

A "Hot Reboot" is when the GUI is rebooted not the whole phone. Aka it never fully turns off. Its like restarting your PC.

    App names cut off

everything was working fine, changed the boot animation and then the names got cut of when I rebooted. I changed the animation to the previous one and the names are still cut off. Any ideas on how to fix this?

    I'll post a screenshot asap.

Okay, so if I'm just rebooting my phone for changes to take effect a 'hot reboot' would be fine?
