I have submitted a few rooting apps that intergrates itself into the universal androot but for some reason google keeps suspending them without reason and I do not see it anywheres in the tos or dev sections I agreed when I paid them 25 usd to be able to submit apps. Yet you can download root required apps and they are fine but the second you submit a app that deals with rooting even if it is just a how to they rip it off the android market.

Seems like Google might be feeling pressure from the Cell providers on rooting.....

True, But that doesn't mean they have to allow the apps in their marketplace...

Then they should have it stated in the agreement I had to agree with before I wasted the 25 USD on a developer account. I read all the rules and I even spent about 3 hours reading over every section and no where did it state it is prohibited to sell or publish rooting tools on the android market I am thinking about getting a lawyer and sueing them for lost of funds sincde before the takedown one of my apps was downloaded over 3000 times and 75% was active installs and the paid version even though it only lasted 10 mins made me enough cash to break even with the 25 USD I had to pay google to get the account in the first place.

Your damages include $25 and whatever time you spent on your app. Good luck getting a lawyer to fight for your lost $600..... You'll spend more on a retainer and the gas to get to the lawyer's office.

It is hosted on my website to purchase with google checkout but with the market it is way easyer to update plus my hostiing service is crappy so it makes things hard that way. Plus the market is open to more people as well as makes advertising easy

Maybe you have a stalker that's flagging your app as soon as it's listed. If it gets flagged enough times it probably gets suspended automatically.

Perhaps but it is only my rooting apps and root guide apps that are affected. My other none rooting apps are getting ignored and allowed to flurish.

Just one of those things. I'll agree with Backnblack -- ever since rooting was officially OKd by legal, I'm sure Google is feeling pressure from VZW to police apps that actively assist in voiding warranties.

I dont agree with it, but as long as we can still do it in the form of non-market apps, I cant complain too much. It sucks, but so do many things.

In my opinion, its these magic 'one click root'apps that are the problem. Your granting superuser access to people that don't know enuf to not brick their phones with it. That's the source of the majority of fraudulent warranty claims I would bet.
