it's opening and says switching to global mode.
back to google sign-in page for account and it took this time.
but yahoo cannot connect...server not responding!
should i wait for all that and set up after i know im ok!?

Yes. Also make sure to turn off global mode like we did when first turning on the phone. To make sure you are on your rooted ROM, go to about phone in the menu and open up software info. It should show what ROM you are on.

2.3.3 & build is same as zip = 2.18.605

Also...just plugged into laptop cuz phone was dieing and it recognized it again!
what do i do now?
download all the apps again and sync contacts? etc...

Your apps and contacts should have started downloading already. Software sounds right, you are running your rooted ROM now. Standby while I look into global turn off.

I should say this though, sometimes free apps don't reload for some reason. If all of your contacts were Google contacts they should reload automatically. Check your accounts and sync settings. See if your Google account is listed. If it is, sync it only one time otherwise you will get multiple duplicate contacts. I know from experience...LOL
