i am trying to re-root my phone after a bit of a mishap the other night where i apparently installed a incompatible rom that got me stuck at the boot screen when i restarted my phone. i am following these instructions: All-One-Guide to Rooting, Deodexing, and Installing a Custom ROM/Theme (And How to Unbrick Droid X) - Android Forums when i execute doroot i rcv the following error: Checking for devices... List of devices attached 015A482719009025 device " Transfering payload. -->Superuser.apk cannot stat 'Superuser.apk': No such file or directory -->su cannot stat 'su': No such file or directory -->busybox cannot stat 'busybox': No such file or directory -->rageagainstthecage-arm5.bin cannot stat 'rageagainstthecage-arm5.bin': No such file or directory Rooting failed. No Errors" those files are in the directory where doroot also lives. is there a better way to root? depending on how you root are there different roms you can install dependent on method? thanks.
