    Hey everyone,
Had a quick question. I've only recently rooted my phone (don't know what took me so long), and have kinda become addicted to trying out different ROMs. I'm on my third in 3 days (Lithium Mod). I was wondering, is it absolutely necessary to always wipe the data prior to flashing? Or will it just cause annoying problems?

    Thanks!

When flashing a different rom unless it a minor update to the one you are already using then yes always wipe or you risk all kinds of screw-ups

Always, always, always wipe prior to installing a new ROM. With apps like Titanium backup and my backup pro, you can get things up and running again fairly quickly.

Check out the project elite section for a sticky by GirlsLuvDroid with a great write up on wiping and installing ROMs. (Sorry, if I wasn't on my phone I would link you ...

Thanks for the quick responses. I think I found that sticky you mentioned. Again, thanks. Although, I now blame you for me finding another ROM to try :icon_evil:dancedroidhaha
