I just bought Root Explorer and I am trying to remove "Bloat" apps. When I click on the "Mount R/W" button, it clicks, but nothing happens.

    What am I doing wrong?

Yea, it should change... I would uninstall and reinstall. However, it is easiest to remove bloatware with Titanium Backup. The free version works for that as well.

are you rooted? Did you give Root Explorer SU Permissions with the Superuser App?

I don't think it even opens to the point of seeing the R/W button without having root access. That's the first thing the app does when it starts, is check for that.

I've never used it :) I've seen pics of it though haha, next guess would be how does it check for busybox, plus is it compatible with all versions of busybox or does it install its own copy?

i'd think there'd be something in the logcat that'd probably help a little more
