Root D2 after gingerbread 32 bit

I recently attempted to root my droid 2. I was unable to do so because the motorola drivers I needed for my 32 bit pc were unavailable. Anyone have any ideas? I was trying to use the one click root file.

Find a 64bit PC you can use and go that route. I had to use v6 of Pete's Motorola Root Tools, not v7.

Go to the Motorola website. Look for USB & PC charging drivers. I just rooted mine with this & Pete's Motorola Root Tools v7. Extra easy.
