1. You want that $100.00 in your pocket or an Amazon Fire TV don't you? Well here's the deal. With our new updated look we are in desperate need of an updated logo. The 'old' one has certainly served us well, but it's time. Find all the details here: bit.ly/1q0k6Wa

I have seen 2 different articles where Verizon is making Motorola install a root checker in the stock recovery so they can tell if the phone is or ever has been rooted but it is starting with the ics ota and some phones already have it and the bionic is next but what i really want to know is if anyone is working on a go around for this or some kind of way to reset it http://t.co/aw9JOd7f

As of now, no work around. Ive looked in other forums that have ICS with verizon. Pretty sure there will be.

It doesn't look promising at the moment. If that checker and the 1/0 status counters are behind the bootloader encryption there won't be a workaround. Ever.

I saw someone in another forum chat room say they were on chat with Verizon support for a issue and they told him his razr was rooted. Didn't even ask permission to access the phone first.

But "heard someone who......" is how urban legends start. A lot of people say stuff in chat they can't back up. Not you dautley, wboever you heard it from maybe.
