Just as a double confirmation my unrooted RAZR also snows 0/0
foxkat did you see the same result i did when doing a temp unroot? Mine was still showing 1/1.
So, appears that installing leaks shows unrooted. I guess the next test would be to see what happens when someone tries to go back to complete stock using FoxKat's steps here, http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-razr-hacks/218746-all-eggs-one-basket-2.html
Any volunteers?

It never ceases to amaze me that anyone big enough, bad enough, smart enough, tech savvy enough to root their device, knowing it voids the warranty, would even care if Verizon or anyone else knew if they did. Everyone preaches about how "it's my device, and I should be able to do with it as I please." If that's truly the case, then you should be a big enough person to accept the loss ....that you caused....... and not complain to Verizon about a replacement.

Couldn't agree more.I agree to a point... that if you brick your device because of rooting then its your loss and you understood the risks before rooting as well as should know what you're doing so as not to brick. But if my phone fails due to a manufacturer malfunction that has nothing to do with being rooted, then it should be covered.

So if you pay for the warranty, and your phone has issues and is rooted, will the warranty company check to see if it is rooted?, or do you have to damage it to a point that they will not be able to check?
