I'm planing on rooting tonight, and would like to know if I should take my sedio case off of my droid. I'm told that OC'ing increases heat, and that having a case on will not allow for my droid to properly dissipate heat.

    Can someone confirm/refute this?

    Thanks.

The Seidio case increases the thermal dissipation footprint of the phone.

Wow, that is quite surprising and interesting! Care to shed some light on this? I am very curious as why this is the case.

    Thanks for your reply!

Is it specifically the sedio case? I'm reading that certain cases will decrease thermal dissipation, making it hotter than not having a case on.
