I have unlocked my boot loader and installed cwm recovery. When I was on safe strap I flashed CM10tb with no problem. Now it failed to flash. Also tried to flash CM10 and it failed. Any ideas?

It says "assert failed: get prop ("ro.product.device") == "scorpion_mini" ll getprop("ro.build.product") == "scorpion_mini" E:Error in /external_sd/cm-10-20121205_v2-Unofficial-scorpion_mini.zip (status 7) Installation aborted.

You have to mount system to flash s.s. roms

Most ROMs for the RAZR m. where built for safe strap. Now that we have a true recover in order to flash ROMs you need to mount system

Do you have a step by step for mounting the system?

I had a problem with that once. I deleted those two assert lines from the build.prop and it worked fine.

I think flashing cm first does something with the kernel and messes stuff up somehow

Keep in mind we have different phones and your ROM may just not be able to flash the ss version yet or like the other person said there may be another issue.

But in the ROM.zip there is a file called build.prop. its in system if I remember right. At the top you will see those lines from the error message. The assert lines. Delete them.

In TWRP its just the mount tab. But you are using CWM right?
