hmmmm is there a way to disable syncing of apps?
I miss my 2.0 unlock screen...cant stand 2.1 (unless i missed something this was the only option)
Hi first of all the Rom is awesome!! Well this is my first time installing a Rom and unfortunately I ran into a problem which is the following, I followed all the instructions and it says it successfully installs but when I reboot the phone it gets stuck on the Motorola Icon. I do have SPRecovery 0.99.2b and Im coming from the stock 2.0.1 firmware. Has this happened to anybody else?
On power control widget turn the one off that is a circle with two arrows. See if that does it for you.
Did you data wipe/factory reset before installing? As well as clearing the cache?
That may or may not solve the problem, I haven't installed adamz roms before. Hopefully somebody who has used his roms can help you =)
*edit: just read over adamz post to see if this was a 2.1 rom or not and it is 2.1 so you MUST data wipee/clear cache before installing but do it after making yourself an advanced nandroid backup. Sorry if it was confusing at first, I'm in class and typing from my droid so I didn't see adamz original post
when i try to install the smokedglass.rom.tgz after i click choose my own rom, it installs it but just says done. it doesnt give me any options to change the different things. Plz help!
Did you rename it to .rom.tgz?
I beta tested this Rom glad its running good
Same thing is happening to me.
Cleared cache, yes...i do have the .rom.tgz, yes...I did move the file into the root of my sd card.
It's been stuck on this screen for 20 minutes.
I went back to my old rom and tried reinstalling 6.0 again and it keeps having the same problem.
Love this, I've always used your ROM's Adamz, excellent work. The battery life is amazing!
Nevermind....forgot to wipe my phone. lol
Gonna give that a shoot right now.
Just finished installed and getting everything set back up the way I like. Easy as cake.
Adam, great job, I don't think it could be made any easier. The battery life is a amazing!!
