do you guys recommend ROM Manger, SPRecovery, or something else to install ROM's/Kernels?
I used SPRecovery to root, but once rooted I used Rom Manager's ClockworkMod going forward. I've been really happy with it.
I've seen RZ's recovery praised as well and want to check it out.
Same i used SPRecovery to root. Now i am trying to go to ROM Manager but when i flash it after i reboot i get stuck at the M logo. only way to get my phone to boot is to flash SPR back. any ideas?
I assume you've given Rom Manager SU permission (clicked allow). I'd think it wouldn't continue if you hadn't. To make sure, you can go into the SU app and check for it.
Sorry, but "Flash ClockworkMod Recovery" just sort of worked for me, so I'm not much help.
Added a download mirror and went ahead and reuploaded both download links with the enabled programming menu and calendar FC fixed (selecting an event who had guest with contact picture). Also now available in ROM Manager.
Just an FYI Pete, I was just on stock FRG83G before flashing GPA14 and ##PROGRAM worked. I used it to set my Vocode to EVCR-B. It does not work for me in GPA14.
That is odd, wonder why using that builds apks for it did not work...
Either way, it's fixed now just redownload the ROM if you want to use it.
is GPA14 still memory intensive? if it is, i'm just gonna wait for BBGB...
No, check my website for info Peter Alfonso
thank you for stock
Everything seems 100% here Peter, great job sir.
Will there ever be accelerometer/compass fix?
Sent from my Droid
I am not seeing Street View or the Google Search app when I installed GPA14. Does anyone else have this problem? Pete's post says not to instlall the market versions, but I don't even have the ones that came with the ROM.
Edit: Nevermind, they are not in the app drawer, but they are in the ROM. My bad.
