waiting like a crack fiend
Lol me too! I need my fix.. literally!
Sent from my Droid using DroidForums App
I knew I should have waited a few more days... Just re-loaded 2.3.2 last night after having issues with my first attempt last week. Found out the issue was with Launcher Pro's 3D app drawer. I turned off the 3D effect and all is well.
2.3.2 is working well with the stock kernel for me... nice clean ROM.
Oh well... Loading ROMs is getting to be second nature now.
no worries man, one may not have to wipe going to 2.3.3. from 2.3.2 ...
It's out now! And yes, Pete says no wipe is needed coming from *any* GPA build!
Also interesting: a 600mhz new kernel that's at stock voltage and is supposed to be lag-free.
Of course, I just finished putting on GPA12 earlier tonight. Doh!
Gonna give it another try, with the 600 MHz LV kernel. Hopefully the wake-up problem doesn't show up again!
for me, GPA13 broke my trillian client. on the just released cyan 7 RC2 droid i do not have the issue. im finding its performance while set to interactive and downclocked in 200-400 is very smooth, not laggy, and has provided a slight increase to my battery performance as i've always found to be inherent to cyanogen. i do prefer the GPA builds, however, due to the special attention given to droid hardware. most cyanogen special features go out of bounds of what makes sense to me for the droid.
Broke mine also. I check on the Trillian support forum and one item mentioned that someone had it running on 2.3.3 with no problems.
Been on this for a while. Now, my phone is UBER glitchy, very unresponsive, fails to play the music app, randomly skips/pauses Slacker, and gives me static/girgle sounds when the ringer goes off or I try to play music through the headphones. Going back to stock and leaving it that way. I have had TOO MANY bad experiences with the latest 2.3 GB builds along with latest ROMs from this board.
