While that does work, I am not going to do that every time. A fix would be very nice.
ok here's the two things i have noticed so far.... launcher pro runs wayyyyy faster than stock launcher..no surprise there...
however i can't change my wallpaper. when i did i was on the regular launcher screen and it changed the one on my launcher pro screen(????) but now i can't change it to anything else again.
and my weatherbug widgets don't work at all
I'm assuming by that you mean powering on while holding the 'x' key doesn't work, right?
Ergh; if you can't get into recovery, you might have to reflash that with RSD Lite. (If there are other options, please correct me; I hate to have bad/old information!)
You need to incorporate AppWidgetPicker into your rom...

Finally got it to install. I searched the forums and this worked for me:
my battery lasted 14 hours on a 70% charge. that is the longest for me ever and i was using it quite a bit.

You would have to update to v0.6.1 http://www.droidforums.net/forum/bu...e-bugless-beast-v0-6-1-gingerbread-froyo.html
Network Error on Clock Weather using Current Location
Has anyone else had an issue with a network error when trying to get a weather refresh in the clock app? When ser to "use my location", it errors out, but when I put in my actual zip, it loads just fine. I've searched through all the pages and can't find any mention of this. Thoughts or can anyone replicate?
Why does my droid say installation aborted?
I just tryed getting bb v.0.6 and it said installation aborted.
My installation is also aborting, both via recovery mode (power + x), and via ROM Manager. I get the following, which occurs after "Flashing 800Mhz Kernel...":
assert failed: write_raw_image("/tmp/boot.img","boot")
E:Error in /sdcard/clockworkmod/download/bit.ly/hGeBcB (obviously the download location)
I've tried this both with the 0.6, and 0.6.1 file. Oh well! Restoring 0.5 from backup now. :-(
UPDATE 12/22/10: Weird- I decided to try this again without wiping, and got the same error message. I accidentally rebooted without restoring my backup (don't ask! LOL), and lo and behold, BB 0.6.1 was on my phone! So I decided to WIPE, try again, and reboot. Same error message, and after rebooting, it appears the installation worked. Everything seems to be ok, and the phone (D1) is working fine. So, not sure why the error.
Only down side (for me) is that my Fabulous NexTheme doesn't work anymore. Oh well!
