Id use it ,can u do orange instead of red?
Nice sig, bthomp21.
Does anyone know exactly which slayher kernel this rom uses (I know it's an 800MHz one, but which one)?
If it's like the way it used to be, then the ROM toolkit manner sets it once on boot, and that's it. setCPU can set and reset the min/max and governor any time the phone is on and the conditions are met; battery below the % you specify, temp is above the temp you specify, etc. Basically BB's system is a "set it once and leave it" system, setCPU is a "continuously check conditions and set it based on those" type.
I just installed v0.6 and it restored all my apps for me, like normal.
Does anyone know how to change the icons and the programs associated with it in the launcher dock of bb0.6.
Coming from .5 to UD and back to this. Not as many customization options, but this ROM is A LOT FASTER! (on my phone)
Upgraded from BBv0.5 to BBv0.6 last night and am using the Slayher 900 Mhz kernel with the interactive governor. This thing FLIES. I mean ridiculously fast! My phone has never performed this good and I thought BBv0.5 was fast. Great job Pete!
A few questions/comments -- I apologize if they were posted prior in the last 25 pages.
1. Why doesn't the Gingerbread on-screen keyboard auto-correct commonly misspelled words?
2. Is there any way to change the 4 hot keys on the launcher? Currently Talk/Phone/Browser/Corp Email.
3. Thanks for your hard work Pete, it is duly appreciated, I will make another beer donation right after Xmas (priorities man!)
Any way to customize launcher?
Just curious if there's a way to customize the launcher on the home screens. Specifically, I want to remove the Google Talk app from it, and replace with Google Voice. To be clear, I'm talking about the app drawer buttons (Google Talk, Phone, App menu, Browser, Email).
In other news, BB 0.6 SCREAMS on my Droid - thanks Pete!
Been running 0.6 for almost a day. Everything seems to be running very well. I may stick with this until the first stable GB ROM is released.
I flashed 0.6 last night and restored all my apps and settings and everything was grand. Put the phone in the desktop charger and went to bed. Grabbed the phone this morning and half of my apps didn't seem to be there. I checked in Titanium and it showed them as missing too. Rebooted the phone and it seems like the apps came back. Now I am noticing that most of my settings are back to default (things like ringtones, haptic feedback, block advertisements).
I did a wipe when I installed. Most (not all) of my apps re-downloaded from the marketplace. The rest I was able to restore with Titanium.
This is what I used to fix the keyboard. Scroll down halfway on the first page and download AFX's link. All credit goes to Pete.
Fixed it perfectly - ALL auto-corrections working now.
