Another issue I have with this ROM is ES File Explorer. Whether its installed on the phone or SDCard, when I open it I get this error...

    Error
SD Card unmounted or not present

    text messages

I am having a lot of trouble receiving text messages...a friend of mine and my husband (both verizon people as well) have sent me messages since switching to bugless beast v0.6.1 and I am not receiving them all. It's quite a problem...anyone else having this issue or is it just me?

In looking at the log I had noticed that the permissions are set during installation but did retry by doing Pete's permissions utility as well as the one in the ROM Manager. I then reflashed to the latest clockwork 2.5.0.1 checked the SD card analyzer using ES File Manager shows 10.94Gb free. I wiped factory/data and cache 5 times then went into partitions and formatted boot/system/data/cache 5 times then in advanced formatted the delvic cache 5 times. I had previously downloaded the ROM and transferred it to the SD card and tried to reinstall but came up with the same error.

I suspect it is with the size of the boot partition being to small due to 1 bad block. Is there any way to reduce the size of the data (or apk or whatever is going into the boot partition) and maybe moving it to a different partition like the system partition? I just need 1 block less in the boot section of the ROM and believe that should work. Any other ideas/suggestions that I can try? Thanks again for your suggestion.

Is there a guide for this BB installation on the R2Droid2 anywhere? It's on 2.4.5A957. I mean it should be the same for any Droid2 right?

I've got all of the following installed and working

    root access
    Droid 2 Bootstrap
    ROM Manager

I've done a Nandroid backup to SD and am ready to wipe data/cache. Just don't know what comes after that....

are you using stock message app? if so, delete it with the rom toolkit pete included. and then reinstall this Mms.zip

just change the .zip to .apk in file manager and install. reboot and see if you can get messages.

After watching for a while I see the culprit , it is the Market and or Internet , I can go into Market and within a minute it goes from 100 to 20 percent , Market scrolls fine , but I get lost connection "Retry" a lot .

If you use Clockwork Recovery, and made a nandroid backup before you changed Kernels, (like you should have). You could go into advanced restore and just restore boot.

That backup only has the kernel that came with the stock rom.

Oh, so you didn't make a backup of Bugless Beast V0.6.1 before you changed Kernels?
That's the backup I was referring to. Not the backup of the Stock ROM.

Maybe someone can post a link to slayer Kernels for ya.

Well I updated from V0.4 ... and quadrant standard shows a 15-18% speed increase making my device faster than the EVO 2.2+ and the Droid X (non-2.2+).

I flashed from Clockword recovery, renamed your file update.zip, wiped all data and cache and booted normally.

    Thanks!
