Not sure if this answers your question, but I just went to video.nytimes.com and I was able to watch the embedded videos. I have the adobe flash player installed on my phone - and it never asked what it should use to play the video content when I went to the page.

But they support non-flash enabled browsers also. Once the upgrade to 2.2 froyo, it no longer works. Flash is another story...to me it is too buggy for videos. I believe it was ported from the EVO, and to me does not mesh well on the droid for video just yet.

Did you get a yahoo video to play? As in one from the home page of m.yahoo.com

Using the 250-800v32 kernel by p3 and I believe its the standard voltage. Working well now I was like wtf? All good now. Enjoying so far. Wish it had the wrap around apps I stead of the stock like one but its all good.

So I used the directions at How To: Install Android 2.2 Froyo On the Motorola Droid and installed Onix 2.0 Beta. The location based on the antenna doesn't work at all for any program. Should I install BB? If I change the name of the file on the first page of this thread to update.zip, and wipe everything and do a clean install, will that work?

The newest beast works well, but is very stock looking. You will need to add a theme if you want anything to look different. I say you go for BB 0.4 then add a p3 low volt 1ghz froyo kernel and apply Fabolous NexTheme and I assure you will be in love ;-)

All the above can be found below:

    FRF84B Bugless Beast 0.4 (froyo)

    P3 Froyo 2.2 Kernels

    Fabolous NexTheme 0.4

Oh...and yes you can change name to update or choose "install zip from SD card" option from within nandroid

I was running Chevy's ULV 1.25 for a while, finally got tired of the reboots. Now running his LV 1.1, and running very smooth and stable.

i dont get random reboots but just because max is 1.25 doesnt mean you have to run full speed. with set cpu just clock down if you are having problems
