I miss the white and blue theme.... but I know it caused issues with market apps. WoW and BoB kinda things.... still can't go wrong with this ROM. Gingerbread really isn't missed.

I had problems getting it to flash from a console while booted up in CM7 (nightly build #34 iirc). No matter what I killed or stopped and had 60MB+ of free ram flash_image (both the CM7 version and the one I grabbed from the RZR site) gave out of memory errors. Finally got it to flash by opening adb as soon as possible upon a normal boot and issuing the commands. Once the phone was fully up and running the flash_image would fail.

The adb shell terminal within is great with autocompletion and dircolors, though it totally horks when in from a win32 box since cmd.exe doesn't know what the heck escape codes are, I wonder if there is a way to work around that (90% of the time I'm on adb from linux anyway).

yea I just noticed wrong thread, I had so many tabs open heh sorry about that.
I didn't do the update.zip since i was lazy and didn't want to reboot, had use flash_image in the past with 0 problems. Of course once it failed once the recovery image was then corrupted so then update.zip wasn't possible. Was about to load up Vbox and do an SBF, but flashing with the boot animation up worked luckily.

but ... if you are in the market for a new recovery and you just flash it, don't you want to ... you know, boot into it to see it? lol

    quick question

What is the difference between the STOCK-BUSYBOX-BASH shell? I went with stock but I was curious of the benefits and what not- is your new ROM almost ready? I can not get over how slick this is- donation coming your way:icon_ banana:

busybox is what some prefer.. but with busybox adb install
bash is nice, supports the full autocompletion and stuff, but only on linux terminals
stock is just .. stock, everything works but is very limited

and yeah, frg83g is running great. If you think the install routine is slick now... ;)

I have a couple more things to do on it and then it's ready. I need to update the volume button code, the long press kill code, and try to add swipe to clear notifications, but that last one may just not be possible to do when not building from source

    Nice!

Couldnt wait and jumped onboard the pre-release 0.4. Awesome work! With the 1.25ghz lv kernel I benched (quadrant 1.14) 1778; but more importantly the phone feels smoother! I did change the vm heap to 40 tho, seems to agree with my droid.
