Did you install over the top?? Anyone else having this issue??

try this... first simply try and log into Gtalk (that jump starts downloads for some reaso, don't ask me why but I have seen it more than once)

if that doesn't work reboot

If you did a wipe/install check to make sure you are not just simply backed up in the market as all your other apps might be downloading

and last if nothing else works try a wipe/install

use root explorer and navigate to the /system/app folder and delete it

or use adb shell
rm /system/app/Gallery3D.apk

I can not guarantee you will not have issues though, I think the camera app point to the 3d gallery if you select the last image shot within that app

Thanks for the quick reply. I can dl Apps fine, it's when I try to dl zips from the forums or browser it immediately says unsuccessful file not supported. And that's over wifi. Tried reboot and another cache wipe. Maybe I'll do another install.

If you have Astro go into settings, preferences and click enable browser downloads. That should fix your issue!

thanks for such a quick reply! okay one more thing. I don't know if this has sto do with your ROM or not BUT... I use a different messaging app and i would like to disable the stock message notifications. I have notifications unchecked in the messaging settings but yet I'm still recieving them. Is it something I'm doing?

EDIT EDIT EDIT: Stupid mistake by me. I had 2 3rd party messengers installed so i didn't check the other one. D'oh!

If I am on 2.1 with a theme (watermark), would I need to wipe to install, or could I just install 2.5?

you can simply install over the top.. make sure you download the new watermark theme for 2.5 cause its been released!!!

Is it possible to have the rotary lock with a password? Don't like turning my screen on to a pattern lock, rather have the rotary then that. It looks like its one or the other. Everything else looks top notch!
