The phone vibrates when making a phone call which is really annoying. That is if I'm pressing the buttons it vibrates, but if I call a number from my contacts it doesn't vibrate. Strangely, if I'm pressing the numbers during a phone call it doesn't vibrate. In other words I called my bank and had to enter my loan number and while entering the number it didn't vibrate then.

Any idea why this is and how I can stop it? I went into call settings and removed the check from anything that said vibrate. I also turned off haptic feedback as well as anything that said vibrate under sound settings. Is there someplace I'm missing?

Did you try rebooting, so your new settings can take effect?

ok for with issues regarding apps being killed frequently. open terminal and type this

    su
    echo "2048,3072,6144,7168,8192,8192" > /sys/module/lowmemorykiller/parameters/minfree

    su is one line
and the echo stuff is one line not two. now this will change and go back to the way we set it originally after a reboot so if you don't like how its running with these numbers it will go back but this should help for those having issues with major apps being killed often. its in no way a miracle fix but it will help.
Also for those using handcent and other mms apps besides the stock one. we have found that people with handcent aren't getting a lot of picture messages. if you uninstall you will get most of your messages. (hopefully) we are working on this issue along with the app killing issues for the next release. no eta so please don't ask

    Thank you!

As far as hancent issue: does uninstalling and reinstalling work -- or just flat out uninstalling?

I rebooted my phone and lost all of the widgets and shortcuts I put on my 7 homescreens. Again I tried restoring the settings from last week when I installed this ROM, but it said that an error occured and to please make sure the sd card is available. I can't restore w/ adw or now w/ LP so I had to manually add them one by one and it looks like I have to do it again. I want to like this ROM, but with the problems I have it's not making it easy. Am I the only one that's had these problems?

edit: So long project elite. I guess it's one ROM that isn't compatible w/ my phone. Since the LP and ADW issue couldn't be resolved I flashed CM7 RC2 and was able to restore the backups of both ADW and LP w/out a problem. I didn't do anything differently. I wiped data and cache, then let it download from the market just like I did with this, however I had zero issues restoring the homescreens and settings. Thanks very much actngrezy for letting me know about the haptic feedback button under contacts. I appreciate your help
