Could be a bad download. try to redownload it again.
Are you installing the 5.0.1 file?
which install method are you using?

SPrecovery needs it to be update.zip on the root of the card
RZrecovery doesn't need anything other than you to point to it.

Is anyone's led working when the battery gets low. Mine doesn't. I didn't notice till I read the buglist for chevy's ss rom. Is this a kernel or a rom thing?

Sent from my Droid using DroidForums App

Sounds like a bad dowload. Delete the file and redownload it.

sounds like you're using CWM recovery. i would say to reboot and try flashing alternate recoveries in RM; but, since you've wiped, the only way to do so would be to flash a different rom first. so, i would recommend flashing RZ's recovery, and then try installing PE v5.

Also, if using SP, you could have accidently named your file update.zip.zip. Try just namining it "update". The zip extention may automatically go at the end.

Has anyone had any issues of losing pictures that were on the sd card. The other day I was looking through the gallery and almost all of my categories, such as camera, wallpapers, sd card, etc., starting counting down as if pictures were just erasing on their own. I have been running 5.0.2, loving it by the way, since it came out and the only thing I've changed recently was my theme. I tried Incinerated, which is pretty cool, but decided to go back to stock from a nandroid backup. It was after this that it starting happening. I'm at work now and haven't been able to hook up my phone to my computer and check through the sd card that way, but off the phone only they seem to have disappeared. Any info anyone can give me would be great. Thanks in advance.

I used astro and have been looking everywhere. I had about 70-80 pictures on the card and only have four left. Those four are under the DCIM category. It was the strangest thing when it happened, literally my pictures started counting down til only four remained.

Is there anyway around the ADW Launcher issue? Everytime I reboot it asks to make LauncherPro the default and it removes my widgets.
