Actually I meant that the black on the notification pulldown was fine, its just that the text
notification bar itself was black and therefore was illegible - stuff like "new email", "preparing sd card", etc. If just that was made white with the alt battery I'd be a very happy camper (and maybe with an updated lockscreen). Just some ideas for any future releases of the theme.

Edit: also its been a persistent issue throughout all rEVO ports I've used, but the add bookmark button next to the url bar in the browser is too big :/

I had a problem texting when I overlayed "Executive" theme. I think it may have been something I did though. Haven't had a problem with "vanilla" Project Elite. Nor I have I had a problem with "Galaxy S" theme. I'm gonna try Executive again today. I think my problem had to do with the fact that I used Desktop visualizer to change all of my shortcut Icons and widget icons. I didn't have a problem texting up to that point. Just trying to use the proess of elimination.

    Yea.......but..

Well I don’t post allot but I read ALOT!
I have tried several ROM's, Sapphire & UD 8 and I have to tell you that none of them has been as stable or reliable as stock.
WOOH...before you chop my head off....
I will try this one, heck after reading 43 pages of posts tonight I might as well just to my readings worth.
I hope this one is as everyone says.....STABLE.
The problems I experience before were all lag times and auto reboots, and the weird thing is that they started out OK, but as time went on.....not so good. Sapphire 1.0 was by far the best on my phone...but it too fell short of stock.
I am no expert on programming, but I aren’t no dummy either. I have been using RSDlite and SPrecovery and currently have a stock FRG22D rooted so I can run wireless tether. no Sprecovery, I used "the one click rooting method" http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-hacks/81709-one-click-rooting-solution-droid-thread-latest-v1-8ra.html
it worked for what I needed. I will install SPrecovery tonight when I get home and Flash tomorrow.
    I WILL report back!

hope it goes well, and looking forward to your perceptions/observations. i can honestly say that i haven't experienced one random reboot since this rom dropped. and when my Quadrants drop below 1300, i just clear cache and my phone seems good to go. but i'm definitely interested to hear what the "lurker" has to say... lol :)

that machine gun barrage of FC's after installing a MM theme is not uncommon. the bowers explained to me once why it is - but that was way back in last week, and i can't remember. :) it has something to do with how the rom theme incorporates its images that makes it not get along well with MM files. for a batt icon MM file, you may be able to just take out the images and copy them into the corresponding/matching hdpi folder in the theme, and then reflash the theme. it worked for me when incorporating one of Stew1's MM pulldown themes into the BnB theme...
