That option in Elite Options remains checked after I exit, and even after I reboot. I'm not sure why that's not working for you, but you can accomplish the same thing by going into Terminal Emulator and typing

I've got a weird problem. Everytime I nandroid backup, when I reboot, Twitter FB SmoothCalendar etc are all back, after I deleted them. I used root explorer, elite options, and root tools. Any idea?

did you reboot? changes thru Elite Options generally require a reboot to take effect.

are you deleting them from system apps before you make your nandroid?? after deleting the apps, are you rebooting before you make your nandroid?

Here's what happens, I make System/Apps R/W in Root Explorer. Delete the apps in question (or use RootTools or EliteOptions). Reboot to recovery, nandroid backup, reboot phone. And the apps are back. Was not seeing this with peV3, only 3.5.

in order to get your changes to "take", you generally always need to reboot. if you're doing the backup before rebooting, you're probably backing up the system before it has had the chance to make the changes. try deleting the apps; reboot; then reboot into recovery and make your backup.

I'll try that thanks. The apps don't all come back at the same time, seems only one or two reappear. But after a few nandroid cycles of backing up, they all reappear. I'll try the reboot first idea.

2 backups using your method, and it seems to be working. Thanks for the solution!

Dropped slayher's LFY kernel (I use the 1.2) on this last nite. vs the v1.6 referenced in the OP, the results are astounding. IMHO the best kernel out there right now.

Trying out this ROM for the first time. Very much a winner so far except for one thing.

No voice to text option in the keyboard. Anyone else seeing this?

I did the same and I could def tell a difference, it makes sense now that this rom is built from Liquid source.

Silly me! Probably missed this, but my old tired eyes just can't see it right now. What is the standard kernel included with PE3.5? When looking at slayher's site from the link in the OP, I see several 1200 kernels. Which is the one most folk here are using? Thanks.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the standard kernal is Slayher's 1000 Mhz v1.6 kernal.

On slayher's site, which kernel is the one you're using? I see several 1.2 GHz kernels. Is it the new one? Thanks.
