can i flash this over v3? or is wiping recommended?
Yeah there def is. The progress bar is actyally the color of the one on the galaxy s from tmobile. The green is similar to the green I released w rom but a tad different but if you want to change it you need to swap theprogress_horizontal.xml out for a different progress_horizontal.xml which has the blue you'd like. This file is in framework-res.apk/res/drawable.
Then reflash the new freamework wih the new file in it
Well that changesthe progress bar for when you press the vol up and down and tunr volume up or down among many other things as well.
I recommend to wipe which is always the proper way to flash but you can def give it a go and see if every works ok.
I'm assuming you want an inverted (black background/white text) version of GTalk. Attached is an inverted GTalk from the BlackNBold theme by thebowers. I've put it in update zip format, so you install it just like a theme, without wiping. It's a good idea to make a backup first, before installing this.
Wow man this is def the best build yet...."stock" looks extremely well and its really feeling nice....great job no complaints yet
Sent from my Droid using DroidForums App
really outstanding work!!! i've been out of the loop for a while, but one flash and the addiction is back!!
FWIW i flashed directly over V3 and only after a couple hours, i am problem free. hope it stays this way.
so far it is an awesome ROM, and i like the stock theme of it. trying to decide if i want to go to the EVO theme or not. great work again, love your work.
Incredible, thanks a ton! :icon_ banana:
Excellent work on the rom. Smoother, no redraws, and even better battery.
Light usage yielded 80% after 9 hours, and on v2 I got 20% at 23 hours on a full charge once. Can't wait to see how this fares!
Ok checking this out for sure!
Any chance you could post the stock theme so to as avoid reflashing the rom? Thanks for all the hard work!
Or you could set it up the way you like and do a nandroid backup and then revert back to that..
Can't u even go into recovery>nandroid>advanced>restore system (not 100% sure I got the names right).
