Running BB V.4. Rom manager is telling me I need to update to the latest version of RM. So when I try to update it won't download. Ask I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it still wouldn't download. Help!

The market is acting up for me on all downloads, not just RM, so it is probably entirely unrelated to RM itself.

Try going to phone settings/applications/manage applications/market/clear cache

No luck. I noticed several apps are not updating so I'm hoping it is just a short term glitch with the android market, and not my Droid.

FWIW, when I rebooted a few hours ago, suddenly I got the little download notification with a red twenty something (I guess it counted every restart I tired) and the 4 apps I was trying to update downloaded fine. Fingers crossed, looks like whatever was hexing the market today for me ended, hopefully it does for you too.

Still no luck. I can download apps from Market, I tried a few random apps. There are 7 different apps that wont update when I go into market then downloads. Some are very important! SetCPU, ROM Manager and Titanium Backup are the ones I'm concerned about. When I go to cancel one of the stuck downloads, a box pops up and says "Sorry! The application Market (process com.android.vending) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. With options to Force close or Report.

Try clearing the cache and data for the market (under applications) and rebooting. When you come back, agree to the market terms and everything should be reset. The market was good for me once it cleared up later that night, but sometimes when you get corrupt data in the market you need to clear it out and reset it.
