I was looking at bb0.9 and am thinking about trying it out, but when i click on it, it gives me a set of kernels to choose from to install with it and at the bottom it says "smoked glass"

it only lets me choose one thing though. So if i choose a kernel, will it give me a stock theme or something?

It comes with Pete's modified stock theme with transparent notification drawer and app drawer tab.

What I did was install the version with the kernel I wanted, then used the smoked glass update.zip from Pete's thread about bb 09.

I'm hoping there will be a second set of options in the future so we can have a kernel AND the theme installed at the same time via rom manager, but since bb was only recently added, I think the current way is acceptable.

You could also install the them first and then apply the kernel of your choice.

I would talk to Pete about this, since he actually is the one that sets up the install process within ROM Manager, not me.

Good to know! I was wondering how that all worked! I'll get in touch with him on twitter to see if he'd say it up that way! Thanks for all your work Koush!

No problem, more information can be found here on how the ROM list is created and installation options are set up:
