[RESOLVED] ROM Manager no downloads listed.

Am I the only one? I've reinstalled both ROM Manager and the premium license. Where the heck are all the downloads?

    Resolved

I dug into this a little deeper today and I managed to get the full list back.

    ------------------------------

I noticed that when you select 'Download ROM' the app connects and downloads a manifest located at (http://gh-pages.clockworkmod.com/ROMManagerManifest/manifests.js).

I opened this file and began reading through it. I didn't find anything too useful until I noticed at the top, the very first line it says "minversion: 2514". It looks a lot like this is referring to recovery version 2.5.1.4! So, I scrolled down and selected 'All ClockworkMod Recoveries' and selected '2.5.1.4' and hit OK.

An error occurred while flashing your recovery.

    Coinciding with,

    java.io.FileNotFoundException: http://mirror1.kanged.net/recoveries/recovery-clockwork-2.5.1.4-sholes.img

    Damn!

I checked out the site, and sure enough, it's down. But, as I went up the tree I eventually got to 'mirror1.kanged.net' and received the message, "Gerrit is moving! Looks like your DNS has not updated yet. Have no fear, it shall in time."

Interesting; so it appears the damn mirror is down, err moving.

I tried 'mirror.kanged.net' and boom, there's everything I was looking for... except for the 2.5.1.4 recovery for sholes! :icon_eek:

As I was searching I noticed that the 'Flash Alternate Recovery' option was lit-up (it was grayed out before), then I noticed that the Latest Recovery was listed as 2.5.0.1, with my Current Recovery still shown as 2.5.0.7.

I thought, "Well something has changed even though the download failed." So I tried the the 'Download Rom' option again and presto! The full list of Roms and other goodies was back!

    ------------------------------

I'm not sure what is going on, exactly, but it appears there are some issues with the Kanged mirror used in ROM Manager and it's causing some bizarre stuff to happen. I not sure why the download list started working unless the attempt to install a new recovery updated a local setting to reflect the version that I tried to install, even though it failed. Maybe even a bugged recovery version?

I'm forwarding this thread to Koush.

RESOLVED; At-least on my end.
