Anyone else experiencing severe lag when opening Rom Manager (on 4.96)

I'm wondering whats causing this, perhaps its because his app has 1,000,000 roms its trying to query data for when you load it, rather than doing a lazyloading scheme where it only queries the ones you select?

It loads, freezes for like 10 seconds, then works at a snail pace for about 10 more seconds, then runs fine. That seems like the symptoms of an app needing a lazyloader. Just wondering if I'm insane or if this is happening to the rest of you.

Yes, RM is terribly laggy. I tweeted Koush about it and he acknowledged the issue but is unsure how to fix it :(

I didn't think it was Chevy. All Koush would need to do I think is to just split up the rom querying. Ohwell maybe some day...

Sorry, didn't mean to imply that it was Chevy's ROM alone, just an RM issue and that Koush is aware.

Send Koush an email with that idea, he just might implement it. Then again, it might be a little difficult for his app to detect what phone is using it because of the variation of ROMs, kernels, etc.
