can anyone provide a link where I can download the latest rom manager apk FREE version? I am unable to download the FREE version from the market, I have been trying to download the FREE version for the last few days, it says its downloading and every time I try to cancel the download of the FREE version, the market fc's. Any help with that issue would also be appreciated.

Once again to make it perfectly clear I am looking for the FREE version of rom manager
And once more... I am only intrested in the FREE version

Okay my other question is do you have the paid version of RM already?? I know for me they work off each other and am wondering if that maybe part of the problem (if you don't have the paid version of RM).

I do have the paid version. That and every other app I have tried will download and install fine, just not the free version.

Hummmmmm Okay, you got me stummped. The only other thing I can think of is to try to uninstall your paid RM, do a battery pull while the phone is on, then reboot and go into the market, try to download the free RM first then the paid RM.

Unfortunately I am all out of ideas. You may want to go to the Rescue Squad thread and post there to see if anyone has any other suggestions. I am sorry that I was unable to help you. If you do find a fix can you pm me and let me know as I am curious at this point.

I think your next move without the .apk is a factory data reset.

You could try turning off all syncing, background applications and google. Then reboot the phone, and check to see if you see your current version in the app manager under settings. If you have some kind of install, you might just get by with either uninstalling, or clearing defaults etc.

or try asking the dev on twitter if he has it linked up somewhere

I am experiencing the exact same issue attempting an automatic update of the free Rom Manager.

    I am using JRummy's Kangerade 1.0 NexTHEME.

I have the same exact symptoms. I thought uninstalling would reset it, but it still thinks its downloading when I try to reinstall.

I know this sounds crazy but I just had the same exact problem after flashing Onix 1.25. On the screen that shows the "yellow bar" downloading, press and hold until a new window (box) comes up. Then press I believe "cancel download". I then went to reinstall and it worked after a couple times. (I sometimes have to cancel and then reinstall with Froyo) Hope that helps and works.

I had this problem too. It fixed itself when I wiped data and cache when I changed roms.
