Eek. I would flash it again and then activate the phone with *228 option 1. Better yet, screw this rom and get on cm7. It will blow your mind.

I agree. CM7 and 2nd init all the way

As I recall, you were the one to get me to try Liberty. ;)

Absolutely! It's a bloody great rom. Once 2nd init was implemented.... well you know what happened.

I agree 2nd init roms are the way to go from now on. But jrummy and the liberty team will will always have a place in my heart. Liberty is what got me going with roms. Once justice is up, I'm hoping back on to the back if the eagle!

You'll have to
1. Sbf or
2. Use the tbh all in one installer.

If you can, just sbf real quick. It will be worth it. I promise

oK, so can I go from rooted gb to cm7? Or do I have to sbf again... Links?

There is a zip file for the D2 you can flash. I am not familiar with it though.

If you are comfortable with sbf and are near a computer, I'd sbf the old fashioned way

I didn't try cm7, tried miui and once I replaced the launcher I was happy with it, 2nd init roms just don't seem to maximize the battery life. I have yet to get as good of battery life on anything as I do with liberty 0.9.

How about the rest of you, similar battery life on 2nd init?

Oh no. Battery sucks, ill admit (6-8 hours max with real heavy use), but the rest (speed, customization, etc..) outweighs it for me
Plus I have an extra battery ;)

K, wanted to make sure. I may check out cm7, but I need my phone to last all work day plus a little because I am never able to charge my phone for long if at all.

Liberty gives me what I'm looking for there.

Well I would super love to get liberty gb, but until I get some support from the creator, I will be playing with cm7. I loved liberty 2.0.1, but I really want netflix support. Which I can get with cm7.

PS, Flashing CM7 now. Will update ya later. Thanks for the help y'all.

Netflix was approved to run on D2 phones regardless of rom.

I will say that CM7 has improved on battery life, however I love the interface of MIUI customization a little bit better. Those are the 2 roms I'm flashing between.
