How to Install Raging Bionic:

YOU MUST BE ON STOCK 98.72.22 JB KERNEL

  • Boot into Safestrap v3.11
  • Select any Slot
  • Wipe Data / Factory Reset
  • Wipe cache and dalvik cache
  • Wipe System
  • Install ragingbionic.zip
  • Reboot System
  • Initial boot takes about 5 minutes...Dont Panic
  • Reboot
  • Profit

Enabling Overclock:

The OC script is in /system/etc/init.d The scripts are are commented out to prevent initial boot issues. I've had Bionics that crash at 1250mhz, while others fly at 1350+. Use tweakerz to "test the waters" then go to the OC script, uncomment the scripts (delete the # in front of the script), and modify the scripts to suit your desired speed and voltages. For those of you on a 4 slot, leave the last line commented out.

Reboot.

Profit.

Remember, once you uncomment the scripts, OC will stick. If you push it too far you will find yourself editing with adb through recovery or reflashing your bootlooping soft brick. Have fun guys and gals

If you're not comfortable working with the scripts, you can always just apply settings in tweakerz. This, however, will not survive a reboot.

I, Team Rage, DroidForums.net, nor anyone else will be responsible for what you do to your phone! If you do this right it should work well. If not...well...that's what we're here for. Remember, we all do this for fun and have real lives too. If you find any bugs, please be sure you followed the INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS exactly before reporting. This ROM is designed for SAFESTRAP 3.11 ONLY. Flash other methods at your own risk!!

Where are the ROM settings at? I noticed you have toggles up in the notification bar on one of your screenshots but I don't see any way to enable them.

Does this work with the lapdock? If not webtop I'd be perfectly content if HDMI mirroring was functional.
