yo but when is this coming out WTF pete im anxious you told us like 2 weeks ago man
and he's going to take longer with stupid posts like that. let him take his time, the OTA just came out, and FRG22 is out now too, so he has to work this stuff in. sit back and relax.
We all want v0.5 but I'm quite sure Pete DOES have a life outside of the Android OS. Come on guys, there is nothing wrong with v0.4 is there? No. Be cool and quit begging for a rush job. As stated several times in this thread, it will be worth your wait. I'm staying right here on v0.4 chillin'. I tried other ROMs and almost every one of them had horrible battery life or something else that made me restore right back to my BB backup(s). I have no problem waiting, and I'm certainly not going to pressure someone that does something I can't do to hurry up. Think about it guys.
I doubt he will actually hold it off because a couple people are being impatient. He will release it when it is ready
What he said... and those that follow his twitter know that he was out "camping with the fam" this week, and took time out of his trip to root and post the OTA. creating a rom is a little more difficult than that with all of his modifications.
well stated, i fully agree.
Pete's the man.
No other OS runs like Bugless!
So true. I tried some of the other newer 2.2 roms, and they didn't run anything like 0.4 does, so I went back a version to use the best rom out!
Im sorry if this has already been asked, but anyway is there anything in the works for the Droid X in v0.5? I love the 0.4 on my moto droid 1, however just got the Droid X for my wife and all this blur crap is driving me nutz. Thanks!
** Edit, how can i donate?
you can take all the "blur" stuff off, i did that as soon as i got my phone. just delete them off the screen. also cant wait to put .5 on my old droid
As far as the droidX goes, i thought there was no way to load custom roms on it without "frying" it. Yes, there is root access, but that's it so far.
