Interesting......still waiting for a fully stable gb rom though!
It's as stable as it's going to get. Go try Pete's GPA 14 Rom.
We don't like to wait for any OS's....
If Icecream was to be out, we would want that one!
Tried them all! Stuck with gpa15 for quite a while but was to buggy for me. Peters stock rooted froyo now with HTC style theme flashed over it. If I could find and flash a gingerbread theme to give me the gb taskbar, icons and launcher I'd be happy! I prefer the gb look but froyos stability. Want to achieve the look without using 3 party apps though!

Wow, if Honeycomb runs ok on the OG Droid, then imagine how 3.1 will run. As Honeycomb was designed from the ground up for tablets in mind, and Google is working hard on the source to work with phone handsets now, which is why they haven't released the source yet.
DROID DOES!!!!! dancedroid
Glad to see the progression for the D1.
wow, i look forward to the progress.
Which taskbar are you talking about? The notification widgets? Those are from the Galaxy S and are not in any ASOP Gingerbread Roms. Only the CM Source based ones. I like those as well.
But if this can become usable, I would rock i t for a while.
Sourcery Rom has a flawless GB theme, its a one click flash as well, plus 15 other themes including a nice Galaxy S theme. If you plan to try it, flash Sourcery 2.0 first and then 2.2 and gapps.
Some other features include a built in kernel changer, bootanimation changer and transition changer. This Rom has more features then any i have tried and is as stable as stock with great battery life.
you've gotta be jk rowling me.
wow, that is sick!!! this will be awesome when its not buggy at all
I flashed over GB without wiping, kept all of my Market Apps installed - great work on this
You flashed over a GB rom?
*side comment* the balls on this guy, eh?
I'm very surprised you aren't having lots of FCs, what's the frequency of the kernel's highest slot? And have you tried flashing another kernel?
Well shucks, after the last CM7 stable, I thought my rom flashing days were over with. Oh well, here we go again OG.
