    Bug Reports and Fixes

    Compass Calibrate
Compass Calibrate will crash when selecting it. It does not affect the compass and the compass does work. Working on a fix.

    MP3 Ringtones
Some users have reported that setting a ringtone for contact using MP3 format does not work at times. Working on fix.

    Just an FYI-
Compass Calibrate- I've been told that you can work around this issue via a market app to calibrate if you need:
Analog Compass - Android app on AppBrain

    Contact Ringtones-
And I believe when you set a ringtone with RingDroid to a contact, it works.
Ringdroid - Android app on AppBrain

At least there are workarounds... :)

Thanks for those workarounds. I believe I know how to fix the ringtone issue but just need a few people to test it when I am on IRC.

It seems the compass can only be fixed by two ways so far but there are side effects.
    1. Is to add some blur black in, well kind of a lot seeing how much is mixed in together.
    2. Compile new settings package but when a new one is compiled it causes errors in other places.

    Still searching...

    A new way to update...

So I thought of a new way to push updates...Plug computer in, run program, phone reboot and you are updated. Can have the option of wiping or not and everything will be fine.

Finally at the point where wipes will not be required, I know many of you are happy to read that.

I have a little suggestion for your installation steps. One of the steps bulleted is to do a Factory Reset and then the following steps are how to do that. It didn't confuse me, but it might make it clearer to fix those steps for other people?

    FM Radio not working

I thought I read where someone got FM Raidio to work using Fission but Librarat and myself were unsuccessful yesterday. We were able to push the apk's but the program upon starting gets stuck at Launching App and if you hit cancel the app is loaded but cannot change frequencies etc.

We have had it working with other blurred roms using the method described here which are using files form a DX so perhaps it is a Blur related problem.

    Thanks

Also, for the MP3's I've been able to set them using MusicMod.

    constant GPS?

is anyone else getting a constant GPS notification in the status bar with this rom? I am loving it and just used the overclock for the first time this morning...is there anyway to stop the GPS from searching constantly?
