When I try to do this, I have the following problem:
under Storage the total, application, and data never resolve - it keeps saying "computing..." same with the Cache it also says "computing..."

If I push clear data button I get the usual pop up then it greys out. I'm unable to push the clear cache button at all.

Is there any way I can uninstall and reinstall the market application?
I randomly checked other apps and none of them will resolve. All of them just keep saying "computing..."

    EDIT:
I just tried uninstalling a random app through app manager and it seems I can't even do that. It gets stuck on 'uninstalling...'

Hmm ... that's odd. Maybe try rebooting into recovery and clearing cache.

I had that exact problem. In recovery mode, mounting all the partitions, and deleting the contents of the folder "/sdcard/android.secure(I think)/" fixed it for me...

I had seen this posted somewhere else too and checked that same folder but on my phone it's already empty. :(

My other suggestion, which I was going to do before that ended up working, would be reformating the sdcard? I just figure it to have something to do with problems installing to the memory card...

Ok, sorry, cause I know it's been asked a million times already.

What's the script to disable the shutdown shortcut keys?

I think you may be right and that will have to be my next step. I'll have to wait until I get home tonight though to do that (so that I can back everything up to my computer first).

My useage was moderate when I get about 20 hours on a battery. No where near what I was getting with bb 1.0. I hope this changes for the better in bb 0.3.

Oddly the 24 hours I'm getting now is about exactly what I was getting with BB 1.

One of the pre-BB Froyo leaks was fantastic for me; I was getting easily 28-30 hours.
