Can you guys reply to emails (gmail app)? I can compose and send successfully, but it gets stuck on sending when I do a reply. Only noticed this after going from 0.2 back to 0.1.1 (wipe, etc, restore). Still doing it on .2.1. Using 043.01p

It should be disabled by default, enabled if you want it. I would wager 90% of people would prefer not to have them enabled by default.

I think it might be a Gmail issue. I had this problem today running BB 1.0 (not Froyo)

Download a root explorer, navigate to /system/bin then delete the shutdown item. You will need to allow root.

    su
    sysrw
    rm /system/bin/shutdown

its saying it read only then sysrw should make it rw
if the sysrw doesnt work type this
    mount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock4 /system
(follow spacing exactly or it wont work

or root explorer and click rw at top when usign root explorer

personally I love the reboot options expecially reboot into recovery. now the shutdown when hitting camera button not fond of but love the other because I am constantly rebott in tweak or install something.

I use Root Explorer to go to /system/etc/ and open the file install-recovery.sh. Scroll to the pm setInstallLocation 2 line and change the2 to a 0 or 1.

My understanding is that if you just use the command to make the change it will be changed back to 2 when you reboot the phone. I may be way off though.

    Hello,
Has anyone had trouble connecting to wifi (not tethering but actually gdetting on the internet through wifi)? I haven't been able to get on with .1 or .2 and I'm starting to wonder if I should even bother with the new one (no offense Pete all the rest of your roms have been smokin'). It's the only problem I've seen but it is huge for me. I wiped before I installed and have a 1.1 kernel. Any help or opinions are greatly appreciated.
    Sincerely,
    Mr. Newby
