new to rooting/roms for the droid 2...
will this work with 4.5.601.a955.verizon.en.us?

Not familiar with the version number, is that the latest ota? If it is several people have posted in this thread it will. Can't confirm because I myself am on the Droid x.

That should still be ok. The reason the numbers do not match up is because apex was released prior to the most recent ota. Like I said a few users in this thread commented that it did flash over it.

I was a few days ago but am currently enjoying liquid. Thinking about flashing Apex because he updated to the newer GB build for the X. Thats really the only change other then a market fix so I have been holding off. But flash much I do!

If I'm on the latest version of CM74GB do I have to sbf to install apex? Or can I just flash over CM7?

Will this see an update to be based on the OTA, and/or add some of the latest CM7.1 updates(like the lock screen options)?

You can flash it over the update. Pretty much all .605 has is a keyboard fix

you mean i can go back to stock froyo, flash OTA update from stock recovery, root, clockwork recovery, then flash apex over that?

or do you mean i can flash OTA while im already on .153 GB?

You can flash the all in one .605 zip file in Clockwork recovery, or you can let the phone install the OTA update and root it using Super One Click.

Then flash Apex
