I just did this earlier and flashed the 1ghz image too. Phone runs amazingly well. Haven't had a crash yet.

Love this ROM. Super fast and looks sick. Puts the stock to shame. I absolutely love the browser.

With that out of the way -- the keyboard is the one failing. I, too, use Smart Keyboard and have no problems in email or text, but browser entry and Market entry are still slow and buggy (I had one lock up in Market that require a battery pull).

Have not tried the latest. Waiting to see feedback before I update.

    Charging 500 max 125 min
    Sleep 250 max 125 min
    power <100% *
    999 max 500 min

    * if i was having battery issues and not making it all the way through a day, I'd have this value set to lower the mhz to 500 or so when the battery got down to 40 or 50%.

Okay. I decided to give this another shot since I'm off today..

I got Bugless to boot, finally, but I lose all of my data.

Looks like I need to do some reading. I'm running sholes and I get a "installation aborted" when installing.

ZeRo - you lose data if doing a nandroid restore... says so in the instructions. No data loss with update.zip file

Aaron - did you use Nandroid or Update.zip?

Trying this out. I like it. Went from stock 2.01 so lost data. But removing all the crappy vzon apps is nice. I did kind of like the 2.1 launcher. Does anyone know if I can run the app dock from 2.1 on this?

Did you choose "Allow Update.zip" before you tried to install it? That enables the file to run and it will fail if you don't choose that first.

If so, you may wanna try the Nandroid image, will have to reinstall apps though, and be sure to backup /data before you flash it per the instructions on Pete's page

After reading your post, I went to the market and used search and typed away with Smart Keyboard and it was not laggy and I had no problems. Do you, by any chance, have any other keyboard activated in settings. I do recall a while back that I had some problems with Smart Keyboard that were corrected by going to Settings and unchecking the android keyboard selection. Just a thought.

Just updated to the 950mHz version and wow, just keeps getting better. Thought 800 was fast enough but 950 is way snappy.
