I got an error while doing the install. I downloaded the .zip and put it on my phone, then installed it via the ROM Manager app. I chose to wipe data and to wipe Dalvik. Here is the error report I received:

Did you verify MD5? This is a must. Sounds like a corrupt download. Revert back to your nandroid and install this to verify your MD5.

EDIT: Whoa, whoa, whoa...You're trying to flash a crespo rom, which is the code name for the Nexus S, not the Galaxy Nexus. Specifically in this case, you're trying to flash a crespo build of Gummy. Not sure where you downloaded from, but you MUST follow the directions in the OP. Download from here. This is the Toro build - aka Galaxy Nexus CDMA.
  1. Download and place on sd card
  2. wipe everything
  3. install rom
  4. install gapps
  5. reboot and you should be good to go

Wow, I feel really dumb right now. But at the same time I am new to the Galaxy Nexus, I still don't know the different types of ROMs like Crespo vs Toro. I downloaded the Toro and will try to re-flash, will report back and let you know how it goes!

Don't feel dumb. Each phone has a code name. You just need to know the code name for yours...and now you do.

When you're looking for ROMs for your Galaxy Nexus, just make sure:
  • a) That you're in a Verizon thread, also known as CDMA (you do not want a GMS version, it won't work on your phone)
  • b) If it has a code name, just make sure it's Toro (the GMS G-nexus is Maguro - stay away from this)
Also, just to follow up, I'm not sure how familiar you are to the process of flashing ROMs, but the base google apps are not included with the ROM. You must download this and flash it immediately after flashing your ROM. If you know this already, please disregard. Good luck.

I've been on gummy since I've had my nexus but this past update has lost my blue bars for wifi and network. Also the kernal is correct but build just just gummy and not the 0.9.0. I love gummy but everything was stable until I just updated

Edit. I got my blue bars back but still confused about the build. I reinstalled gapps and my bars came back

Everything installed perfectly. All good on this end, thank you so much for the help sir!

Love the Rom. I have had it since 0.7.something with no issues. On each update I wipe cache>wipe data/cache> install update> install gapps> restore titanium b/u for apps (not system programs-tho I do restore widget positions and things like Bluetooth pairings).

This time however was the first time I had to revert. Calls I was making were crashing the phone and losing signal quickly. I was wondering if this was likely a one off and that I should reupdate or if anyone else is having issues with longer calls (> 2hours) .

Loving the hell out of this ROM! Metal! Cheers man!

Is it possible to show a 4G icon when available?

What do you mean show a 4g icon when available? Are you not getting any 4g service?

I think he meant a notification to show when you are in 4G coverage. Kind of like when the phone notifies you when a wifi network is available

Having issues updating apex from the play store. Not sure if it's an issue on their side, or the ROMs.
